Stray: Debut London DJ Set

You may have heard a lot of noise recently about a new artist called Stray.

Stray is a young producer from London who we encountered a couple of years ago when he was writing under the name ‘JJ’. We could see he had promise even back then and regularly played his tracks on Ministry of Sound Radio.
Since then, he’s come on leaps and bounds and has recently been causing a stir in drum & bass with his stripped-back, icily beautiful tunes.

A couple of these were featured in our September Mix and instantly prompted a swarm of requests for more information on the man and his music. He has also signed the deeply abstract ‘Timbre‘ to Critical Music for their new album ‘Critical Sound‘ which is due for release imminently, and is attracting the attention of several other major labels.

Seeing how far he’s come, and with all the buzz surrounding Stray right now, we’re immensely pleased to host his debut DJ set in London at the ‘Natural History’ launch party alongside Doc Scott, Nookie and ourselves.
