Never really thought we would use Twitter that much, but it’s turned out to be useful for all sorts of things.

A Busy 2011 Ahead. Here’s How To Keep Up.

Happy New Year to you all. Hope it’s good for everyone.

We’ve got loads lined up for this year including new singles, a new album, new remixes, some collaborations, free tunes, more mixes and a stack of other stuff…so I thought I’d remind you of the places where you can keep an eye on us and get things when they first appear.

If you don’t already subscribe to this you can stick your email address in the box below and you’ll get an email when we put something new on this site, which is where pretty much everything appears first.

Soundcloud

We usually put clips of new tracks, mixes and other interesting bits of audio on our Soundcloud page. You can add us on Soundcloud here.

Facebook

We often run competitions and giveaways on our Facebook page, as well as posting up things that we think you might be interested in like other people’s music that we like. You can find us on Facebook here.

Twitter

Like many other people we use our Twitter as a notebook for ideas, discussions and things that catch our interest. This includes alerts about tunes, music we like, pictures of cats, politics and monthly abuse of Sarah Palin. We sometimes run giveaways as well. Find us on Twitter here.

Youtube

We often upload videos of work in the studio to our Youtube as well as old tunes we find down the back of the sofa and of course full uploads of our released tracks. Find us you Youtube here.

Natural History Photo Competition Winners

Our Natural History Photo Competition Giveaway ended at midnight yesterday, and we’ve had some amazing submissions.

We’d love to give the prizes to everyone who entered but unfortunately we can’t. However given that so much effort went into the entries we’ve decided to give vinyl copies of both the Natural History Remixes to the 2nd and 3rd place runners-up and we’ll also send some stickers to every person who entered.
So please can all of you email us your addresses as soon as possible.

So, without further ado, the winners are…..

In 3rd place, with 73 votes – Alastair Filthybeats and his home-made BMT festival Tshirt

In 2nd place, with 97 votes – Roger Berkley and his Lego wonderland

And in 1st place, picking up 103 votes with his elaborate Black Water tableaux is Canada’s favourite; Kir Mokum

To celebrate the release of the Natural History Remixes we’re running a little Facebook competition and giving away a bunch of stuff.

1) A vinyl copy of Natural History Remixes: Part 1 (Seba & Bop)
2) A vinyl copy of Natural History Remixes: Part 2 (Klute & Stray)

TO ENTER:
To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is submit a photo of yourself, (or a friend), pictured with one of our releases or T-shirts. It can be any release you like from 1996 up to 2010.

We’ll put all the entries in the competition photo album on Facebook and anyone can vote on them by clicking ‘Like’. The photo with the most ‘Likes’ when the giveaway ends will win all the stuff above.

NB: You have to click ‘Like’ on the Blu Mar Ten Facebook page before you’re able to submit or vote on photos.

Remember, other people are going to be voting on this, so if you want the goodies you don’t need us to tell you that the more amusing / risqué / lunatic / sexy your photo is, the better chance you have of winning…

The closing date for entries is midnight on THURSDAY 26th AUGUST.
The winner will be announced the following day (27th).
